Each school within Unity Schools Trust has its own Local Governing Council (or LGC), consisting of a range of Governors from all walks of life. The role of a Governor can be both challenging and rewarding, providing an opportunity to contribute skills and experience in a voluntary capacity in service of children and young people. The role provides an opportunity to make a real difference to the educational outcomes of our students and to support school leaders in promoting the vision and outreach of the school into the local community.
